BASIC OCCUPATIONAL FIRST AIDER (BOFA)

This First Aid training is to train participants on first aid procedures during a medical emergency at work place. The participants will be trained to use AED and hands on CPR and chocking techniques. Besides that participants will also be taught to do bandaging, burnt injury and snake bite management. This training is part of fulfilment the requirement of Health and Safety Act 1994

LEARNING OUTCOMES

  • Confident Use of First Aid Equipment

    Participants will learn how to effectively use first aid tools and supplies during emergencies.

  • Assessment of Injuries and Medical Emergencies

    Gain skills in evaluating different types of injuries and medical situations to provide appropriate responses

  • CPR and AED Administration

    Master life-saving techniques, including Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation(CPR) and using Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs)

  • Techniques for Choking Incidents

    Learn how to apply effective methods to assist individuals who are choking.
